The people of Antwerp, Belgium were sure that American teen icon Britney Spears was in their city after a restaurant owner claimed that Spears, followed by her bodyguards, made a pit stop in her restaurant on Thursday. Luka van der Poel, the owner of the restaurant Erasmus, reported to news agencies that Spears didn't look her best and was wearing a wig that didn't quite fit when she entered the establishment. Her staff was reportedly stunned to see Spears coming into the restaurant, followed by her bodyguards.
Probably the reason Britney “didn’t look her best” was because whoever was playing up the Spears “body double” (complete with bodyguards) wasn’t really Britney in the first place. At the exact same time she was supposedly half a world away from her two young children, Britney really was cruising the streets of Los Angeles aimlessly in her black Mercedes for two hours during rush hour traffic. With her were a friend and her two boys, 23-month-old Sean Preston, and 11-month-old Jayden James. Spears often cruises around the Los Angeles area and was seen just last week in Bel-Air. She wasn’t wearing a wig at that sighting.
Reports that Britney Spears has left her two young children in the care of their father, Kevin Federline and gone halfway around the world to the small European country were unfounded and Spears was at home with her two young boys Thursday night.

As many of you know, Rihanna is a R&B singer. Lots of people classify her as a dance hall singer. Rihanna has become more famous then she has ever imagined. She got in the scene of entertainment very fast. Rihanna was born in the beautiful island of Barbados in 1987. When she was young, she started singing to her family and friends, just for plain entertainment.
Rihanna got involved in Music in her early teens. On one special day, a very good friend of Rihanna told her, she knew a producer called Evan Rogers, so she went and took Rihanna to him. He ask her to sing any song she wanted and Evan Rogers was very surprised on Rihanna’s talent. Immediately after that, they worked on demos that had more then 11 tracks. They mailed out the demos to many recording companies, which one of them was Def Jam Recordings, and they were the ones who gave Rihanna a chance to make it big.
Shane Carter, but most know him as “Jay Z”, was also surprised on the talent of Rihanna. He immediately started recording her LP disc. Not only did Rihanna sing the notes, but she wrote lots of them to. Since then, she has gone to various radio stations. Rihanna said she is inspired by lots of artist like Beyonce Knowles, and Mariah Carey. As time passes, she is going to get more famous, and people are going to have the opportunity of hearing her amazing voice.

Breakaway is the latest release from Pop Superstar Kelly Clarkson, and I can only think of one word to describe this CD… AWESOME!
Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
Kelly Clarkson is one of those musicians that has the ability to just bowl you over with her talent. The kind of artist it’s really a treat to be able to listen to.
If you’re a Kelly Clarkson fan this is a CD your collection flat cannot be without. In fact, this is one of those CDs that you don’t even have to be a fan of Clarkson, or even Pop to know is good. It’s just good music. Period.
While this entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 2, Since U Been Gone, track 4, Because Of You, and track 9, You Found Me.

My younger brother told me that he only wants one thing for Christmas. Well, one person to be exact. You see, he wants Kelly Clarkson, the first-year winner of the screamingly popular American Idol. He just wants to hang out with her, drink coffee, go on hikes and other do similar activities with her. To be honest, I can see them as hitting it off quite well in this respect. This is because Kelly is the kind of person who seems active, engaged, dynamic, and willing to go on those mountain treks.
Since my brother belongs to one of those MP3 download clubs, I can’t be cliché and give him Kelly Clarkson CDs. The next obvious thing that I can do is give him a Kelly Clarkson poster, or better, a life-sized Kelly Clarkson stand-up cardboard cutout.

They barely see their family, and they get harshly judged. When Clarkson reached the finals, she realized she was only one step from making her dream come true. On September 4, 2002, she won the competition and earned 58% of the votes.
Kelly Clarkson’s life dramatically changed. Just two weeks after winning the competition Clarkson released her first single, “A Moment Like This” ; it won platinum sales. In 2004, she released her first CD called “Breakaway.” The CD sold over five million copies and won a Grammy for best Pop vocal album at the forty-eight Annual Grammy Awards in early 2006. Kelly Clarkson’s life changed throughout the years, starting from her life before winning American Idol. Then, her life during the contest and her life after winning American idol, the competition that changed her life. I think that Kelly Clarkson is one of the singers that actually has a good voice. Now days we have many fake voices, mainly modified by computers; to have a real, unique, good singer is great. I think that she really deserved to win the contest and to win all the Grammys. We should all learn how to appreciate and to differentiate good singers, and to stop giving acknowledgments to those artists who don’t really deserve any of them.

Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction (or when I met Natasha, the Gypsy)
I had an extraordinary experience a few years back involving a gypsy in Palma de Mallorca. I'm sure this encounter willshock and amaze you, as it did me.
Just before my vacation to Palma de Mallorca, a palmistfriend dropped by to see me. She read my palms and excitingly told him that I must find Natasha, a Spanish gypsy who lived in Palma. She said Natasha had the magic touch. - Go to her and ask her to read your palms.
To make a long story short, I met Natasha, and she read my palms. She said I would visit a famous casino in Palma, she even told me the Casino's name.
She said when I arrived, I'd meet a beautiful lady who would ask me to buy her a drink.
After the drink, I was to go to the roulette table, and play a special number. The number was the day and month the lady was born.
The next evening, I visited the casino and sure enough, I met a very beautiful lady and bought her a drink.
I did as the gypsy had instructed and asked the lady for her birth date (day and month only, of course). I played the numbers and won a lot of money.
When I turned around, the lady was gone!
The next day, I went back to Natasha and told her what had happened. She said that I'd met my lucky angel.
I started studying palmistry from Natasha and today, I'm one of Norway's leading palmists.
For anyone who doesn't know me, this chain of events probably sounds like a fairy tale.
But truth is stranger than fiction!
I learned Natasha was 28 years old and most Russian men were alcoholic, unemployed, abusive or any combination. Natasha had decided she would have to travel to find a mate and it would be good if that person would be there to pick her up at the airport. A day or two after Natasha Emailed me I heard from Svetlana who was 29 and equally intriguing, with a more sparkling personality. Assuming they were friends, testing me to see whether I would tell one a thing and the other something different, I told them each if they were comparing my letters I would write differently to each. I would not be repeating myself and they would both get to know me better.
Svetlana quit writing before I got a picture and Natasha would not admit knowing her. Natasha sent her picture and the woman in the picture was beautiful. If she needed someone to meet her at the airport to start a new life, I was willing to go to the trouble. Though I am more than twice her age and likely older than her parents, I imagined how she’d be hearing the ticking of her biological clock and may have had plenty of justification to live somewhere outside of Russia.
She had some college education and spoke English but had to use an internet café for mate seeking and used the electronic translator for speed and convenience. I did not mind. The translator added a lot of charm and I got the meanings she intended quite clearly. My neighbor is Polish and I am used to the inversions in sentence structure.
Natasha was crazy for the guy who wrote that profile and she let me know from the beginning. The more I warned her she was falling in love with a man in her head, the more she loved him. Her mother and her female friends were delighted she had found Mr. Right. Sex might be good but love was better and nothing could beat sex with one we love. She loved me so much she was going to skip the phone calls and get here as soon as the paper work would allow.
Early in our correspondence she began explaining how much I loved her and how perfect things would be. I found this approach absolutely charming. I told her loving her was the least I could do in response. The dialog was heating up and I began writing her an erotic story after she began revealing her dreams of us together. That must have pushed her over the edge. Late in June she went to get her paperwork. I was surprised there would be no waiting once she came up with $400 for the paper work. She said her relatives had pledged her air fare but she had nowhere to turn for the $400 - about four month’s wages.
I wrote her back explaining the most important thing in our relationship would be her coming to me through her own efforts and I could not afford the $400 in any event. She might have chosen the wrong lover. On the fourth of July, I got a begging letter from Natasha. I did not respond. Nearly six weeks have passed and I have not heard from her. It was because of Jordan and the way he played the sport that increased the popularity of basketball and NBA all over the world in 80s and 90s. Jordan went on to become a huge marketing force and is still considered to be the most successful marketed athlete of his generation.
Michael Jordan retired from NBA after playing 15 very successful seasons. During his 15 years, Jordan established many records. His 30.12 points average per game is the highest very in NBA history. He won 6 NBA titles Chicago Bulls and won the MVP every time the Chicago Bulls won the championship. Michael Jordan was the leading NBA scorer for 10 consecutive years and has won the league’s MVP award 5 times. His achievements are innumerous and cannot be listed down.
Everyone became of Michael Jordan’s talent when he first played as a rookie in 1985. He had a dazzling arrays of shots and dunks in his arsenal along with superb defense and scoring ability. His ability to leap is legendary and went on to earn him nicknames like Air Jordan and His Airness. He was an all round player.
After his retirement, there was a vacuum. Many players were touted as the next Michael Jordan and these include Grant Hill, Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter. However, none of the players could reach up to the standards laid down by Michael Jordan. Players like Michael Jordan are uncommon and they happen to come along very rarely, give us a lot of excitement and leave us yearning for more.

The latest winner of the mega-hit television series "American Idol" released her first album just before the 2007 holiday rush. For some, it will be this effort will be like an extra little present. For others, it might seem a little more like a lump of coal.
All in all, Jordan Sparks self-titled debut is pretty average or possibly a slight bit better. Her sound seems to be a minor throw back to a few years prior with an attempt to intermix the sounds of pop and light rhythm and blues. For the most part, her youth (she's still a teenager) is evident but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Probably the two most notable works on the album are the first two singles.
Millions heard Sparks' vocal range displayed as she sang out "This is my now" on the "American Idol" finale. This well written song seems to fit her nearly perfectly and quite fittingly is the final track And, the single "Tattoo" featuring a soft, traditional beat and those same solid vocals is quite good as well.
On the other hand, a few examples of tracks that lack any real luster would have to be "Shy boy" and "Young and in love". The first sounds somewhat mechanical and unoriginal, while the second seems to have a week beat and sounds overproduced.
Virtually all the rest of the tracks on this album featured both good and bad elements. They range from energetic, and happy ("Now you tell me" and "Next to you") to subtle and meaningful ("See my side" and "God loves ugly"). Overall, it's not a bad effort for rookie in the music business.
I give it a rating of 3.5 out of 5 or a "B" on the musical grading scale.

Reno is a good market for this type of business and although there is a little competition, not nearly as much as in the Southern Nevada market in Las Vegas or over the hill in Sacramento.
One thing that might be of interest is that the City of Sparks has some NPDES permits that they enforce vigorously and you will need to invest in a reclaim system, block off storm drains when working, and remove the wash water waste affluent. Spanish Springs near Sparks sure grew up fast and that too is a decent market for both mobile car washing and detailing.
Indeed, there is also lots of growth in Fallon, Nevada too now, perhaps worth a day a week on your over all route? Maybe even a jaunt out to Carson City might make sense, lots of customers there as well. Yes, one could build a nice business there. Although the weather can be an issue in Wintertime, it is still doable as the snow makes a mess of everyone's car. Thus, I give a two-thumbs-up to the Northern Nevada Market and recommend it as a great place to run such a business.

Akon is a Senegalese American Hip Hop singer and songwriter. Akon whose real name is Aliaune Thiam was born in 14th October 1981 in Saint Louis Missouri, but his family settled down in New Jersey. It is in this city that Akon encountered name, fame and also faced penalty for breaking the law. Akon was charged and jailed for armed robbery of automobiles and drug distribution charges. He made good use of his time in prison by working on his music. After he was released form prison he wrote many music tracks and songs working in his home. He also recorded some songs as well and his tapes found their way to SRC/Universal and they releases Akon first album titles Trouble in 2004. This album was a fine blend of West African styled vocals, combined with southern beats, east coast beats as well. Till date Akon has produced about fifty songs to his credit.
Later he released many hit singles like Lonely, Pot of Gold, Ghetto, Locked Up and Belly Dancer. The time that Akon spent in jail has a significant impact on his works and this was very much evident in is songs that were released later on. In his hit single Locked Up his experience of the auto theft and his subsequent jail sentence can be felt. The song reached to the top ten in US and the top five in UK. The song Ghetto became a radio hit when this song was remixed by Green Lantern and verses from other rappers like The Notorious B.I.G and 2Pac. Another single Lonely was released in 2005 and this song reached the top 5 in Billboard Hot 100 and was a chart topper in UK, Australia and Germany. In fact Akon’s single became the longest running single at the top running for more then fifteen weeks at a stretch.
In November 2006, Akon released his sophomore debut album Konvicted. This album had collaborations from Eminem, Styles P and Snoop Dog. The album Konvicted has a fine blend of reggae, R and B and Rap that is very true to his African roots and origin. Eminem features in the song Smack That and this is one of the most played songs in the album. Snoop Dog features in the song I Wanna Love You and just as the title suggest this is a love song. Mama Africa is another warm song which features in the album and anyone who has been associated with Africa in anyway will surely love this song. Akon’s Konvicted made its debut at number 2 in Billboard 200. The album sold more then 280,000 copies in the first week itself. The album continued to be at the top of the Billboard 200 for more then 25 weeks.

The Jonas Brothers are the latest hot ticket teen sensation to roll off the Disney mass-marketing machine. This band is not your run of the mill bubble gum pop band. Jonas is unique in that they band consist of three New Jersey brothers, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas all of whom actually do play their own instruments. The band has released two albums and is set to release their third in the summer of 2008.
The Jonas Brothers have a large and loyal female teen fan base having guested on the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana television show. The band was also the opening act for Hannah's Best of Both World's US concert tour and also appeared in Disney's Hannah Montana 3-D concert tour movie.
The Jonas Brothers were scheduled to begin filming their own Disney channel TV series J.O.N.A.S. where the brothers play part-time spies who have ordinary identities by day. The Hollywood writer's strike caused the filming to be postponed.
With that postponement, the Jonas Brothers were able to schedule a Look Me in the Eyes concert tour for the spring of 2008. The brothers will be playing in concerts in smaller theatres all across the US. Listen to Chris Brown and I believe you’ll find there's not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and Chris Brown's vocal work is in top form. If you're even mildly into R and B music you'll enjoy this album.
While this entire album is really very good the truly standout tracks are Run It! [track 2], Young Love [track 4], and What's My Name [track 9].
My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 12, Just Fine. Great track!

Chris Browns real birth name is Christopher Maurice Brown. Born and raised in a small town in Virginia call Tappahannock. He is one of two children. Artists that his parents played on the radio influenced Brown. These artists include Michael Jackson and Sam Cooke.

Christina Aguilera is the latest Pop CD released by the extremely talented Christina Aguilera who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Christina Aguilera fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one.
Christina Aguilera literally grabs your attention right from the very beginning with Genie In A Bottle and won’t let go until the very last note of the very last song Obvious, which by the way is another great track.
Pop music fans will recognize some of the well known guests that have been assembled to play along with Aguilera on several of the tracks. Artists like Micheal Thompson and Tim Pierce just to name a couple.
Overall Christina Aguilera is an outstanding release. Quite possibly Christina Aguilera's best to date. Really spectacular from beginning to end. If you're even mildly into Pop music you'll enjoy this album.

Christina Aguilera, very talented Pop artist has released her latest CD titled Back To Basics and Wow! It's really a good one.
Refreshingly, this was one of those CDs I was able to just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
One of the nicer things about a CD like this is with this level of talent even if Pop isn't your favorite genre you still can't help but appreciate the greatness of the artist.
Overall Back To Basics is an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up and is most definitely a worthy addition to any Pop collection. Truly an outstanding Pop CD. One of those that is completely void of any wasted time, as each track is simply superb.

No, my chemical romance isn't about chemical compounds and how they relate to hormones, endorphins or anything else. My chemical romance is a music band that's also known as My Chem or MCR. My Chemical Romance is an American rock band that's been around since 2001; at least as far as the music charts are concerned. As a matter of fact, My Chemical Romance hails from New Jersey. It's not so easy to categorize exactly what type of music they play, although 'alternative rock' would be a good place to start.
My Chemical Romance band members include Gerard and Mikey Way, Frank Iero, Ray Toro and Bob Bryar. Mickey is the one who had the honors naming the group, and he says he got the name from a book called 'Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance'. Wherever the name came from, they began as the brainchild of former band member Matt Pelissier after he witnessed the 9/11 attack on the World Trade towers, which prompted him to write a song called 'Skylines and Turnstiles'.
Eventually, My they signed a record contract and their debut album, 'I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love' was cut and released. My Chemical Romance followed that album in 2003 with their second, called 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge', released in 2004. The album went platinum. But all was not well with the My Chemical Romance band members and Matt Pelissier left the group due, according to gossip, to an argument with Ray Toro about his drum playing abilities.
In 2005, My Chemical Romance warmed up audiences for the Taste of Chaos tour and then later for Green Day, and later that year, they opened their very own tour around the United States. Following that lukewarm success, My Chemical Romance joined in on a benefit single that was released on iTunes and Internet music download websites, playing for a cover of 'Under Pressure' of Queen fame.
More recently, in early 2006, they released a new CD titled, 'Life on the Murder Scene'. My Chemical Romance then proceeded to work on their third release, cut under a working title of 'The Rise and Fall of My Chemical Romance'. Fans will just have to wait and see what develops from that.
Last year, in 2006, mishaps befell two of the My Chemical Romance band members while working on a music video that caused the band to cancel several appearances. Nevertheless, My Chemical Romance had fans lining up for their show in London this past summer, to kick off the release of their latest album, 'The Black Parade', which was released in the United States later that year.

My Chemical Romance is one of the newer popular American bands out there on the market. The band was formed shortly after the terrorist attacks that occurred September 11, 2001. Then drummer Matt Pelissier hosted recording sessions right in his home. In Pelissier's attic, creations like "Our Lady of Sorrows" and even "Cubicles" went from idea into reality. The band garnered thousands of fans by networking through MySpace, eventually landing their dream of signing a real record deal in 2002 with Eyeball Records. At that point the band had caught up with their new guitarist Frank Lero. He was originally of the band Pency Prep, but the band had become dismantled, giving Lero the freedom to bring a little something extra to My Chemical Romance.
The band went on to sign with Reprise Records the following year in 2003 and even released their second album, "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge." Although they only released three singles from it, My Chemical Romance's sophomore album went platinum within the year. Matt Pelissier was no longer the drummer for the band because of some argument with one of the other band members, and Bob Bryar had stepped in to take over. They have opened for Green Day, been on the Vans Warped Tour, and even had tours of their own.
A sign of true success in the music industry, My Chemical Romance released its own DVD or CD box set called "Life on the Murder Scene." There is a DVD with all the ins and outs of the band and another DVD with music videos and band footage, as well as a CD included.
The third CD for My Chemical Romance is currently in the works, and there is word that it is nearing completion. They are often classified as rock, emo, or alternative music, but My Chemical Romance was created with a purpose, and they have stuck to their original vision rather closely. They received their first exposure through Myspace, yes, but My Chemical Romance has made it through the Internet into a popular and successful presence in the music industry.

The exceptionally talented Pop artist Avril Lavigne has released her CD entitled Under My Skin. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Avril Lavigne fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Under My Skin Avril Lavigne’s artistic excellence is on full display as she has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be her best work to date.
I wish it weren’t the case but, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Under My Skin. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They’re all here.
Listen to this CD and I believe you’ll find there's not much to dis-like about it. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and Avril Lavigne's voice is in top form. If you're even mildly into Pop music you'll enjoy this album.

James Blunt is a British singer- songwriter, who plays a large variety of instruments like guitar, piano, organ, mellotron and marimba. He became the first British artist to top the American singles chart in nearly a decade when his song "You're Beautiful" reached the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100.
James Blunt was earlier into army, within one year he left army and signed to EMI Music Publishing as a singer-songwriter. He has also performed various times on television ad radio all over the Europe, UK, Australia and America. His music videos are being displayed globally.
James Blunt's debut in the UK was 'High'. The song was a top 10 hit in that country. After the success of the song "You're Beautiful" in the UK, it became one of the biggest hits of summer 2005 across the continent.

Blunt is a versatile singer with a blend of pop, acoustic rock, folk in his singing. He is equally good in playing some musical instruments such as the piano, marimba, mellotron, guitar and organ.
Son of Jane Blount and Charles James, James was born on February 22, 1974 in Wiltshire, England's Tidworth town. He did his schooling from Woolhampton's Elstree School and then went to Bristol University. He completed his graduation from Royal Military-Academy Sandhurst. Mr Charles, father of James Blunt, was a Col. in the Brit. Army Air Corps. After passing out from the Academy, Blunt joined the regiment of Life Guards as a commissioned officer. Later he was promoted and became a Captain. Soon after quitting the army job he signed as a songwriter/singer with EMI Music Publishing. Linda Perry - former 4 Non-Blondes singer - signed him and so he became a part of the US based Cusard Records label. This is how the first album of Blunt, Back to Bedlam came into being. The album was recorded in LA with Tom Rothrock - the producer of the album.
The debut album of James Blunt, Back to Bedlam, brought him widespread praise, which included comparisons to Damien Rice, a young Elton John, David Gray, and other prominent names in the arena of singing. Initially, Blunt couldn't get enough investment either from Custard Records - the independent record label that had signed him, or from Atlantic Records - his distributors.
On December 5 this year, James Blunt gave a stunning performance during the Live Show of Radio 2 Music Club. The show was held at indigO2 in London. At the Grammy Awards 2007, James walked the red-carpet along with Petra Nemcova - his model girl friend. He performed his mega-hit "You're Beautiful" at the award. Despite having five nominations he couldn't manage to win any of them.

The very Talented former British army man James Blunt having traded his rife for a guitar has released his debut CD on the Atlantic recording label, entitled Bedlam.
This surely isn't something we'd expect from a guy who was a part of the NATO peacekeeping force in Kosovo, rode horseback for the Queen and watched over the Queen Mother as she lay in state.
Back to Bedlam is a pleasantly varied, mellow mix of 10 very well written songs by this superb new artist. Most of which display a lot of raw emotion. Drawing from his own personal experience, he sings great songs of love, heartbreak, pain, relationships and unattainable romance.
The CD launches with a great track, High, and flows nicely through a very diverse mix of tracks several of which will definitely be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so.
Overall Bedlam is a an outstanding debut album and I give it two thumbs up. Must have music for anyone calling themselves a fan of Pop music.
While this entire CD is outstanding the truly standout tunes are High [track 1], Wisemen [track 3], and So Long Jimmy [track 7]. My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 2, You're Beautiful. Very nice!
